i set up a hammock on the back patio this weekend - which is seriously the best decision i've made in a while. today a gigantic beetle flew above me as i watched the clouds roll across the sky. at some point it flew too low & the kittens caught it. i really, really hate insects - but decided it probably deserved a 2nd chance at life. when i released the beetle again, i watched it fly away and was thinking about how most things are better when they're set free. that's seems true for most things at least
