I wonder if our imagination continues to grow with the knowledge we gain. i think it was a pretty gradual process, learning that it wasn't appropriate to mention every idea that came to mind. Because when we were children, most of us said whatever we were thinking. As we grow up, we learn what is ok to say, and what we shouldn't. in some ways that's a really great thing, but i wonder what it does to our sense of imagination & creativity.

Maybe as our intellect develops, our creativity learns how to work along with it. i really like the way we used to say whatever we were thinking. and maybe it's not that the things we thought of were that strange...it just lacked context.

"Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known." -1 Corinthians 13:8-12
